Living:
Especially from the architectural point of view, Reinickendorf is a very interesting district. The interplay between village idylls, places of residence and industrial heritage is especially attractive. You find ancient farms as well as modern high buildings. In between the residential areas, you find many areas still used for commercial or industrial purposes. Up to today the business structure is well developed and is home to many producing companies.
Public transport:
Depending on the district area the public transport is quite well developed. In the western part of Reinickendorf you have the U6 running to Alt-Tegel and in the east the U8 runs towards Wittenau. Furthermore there are the 3 railway lines: S25 to Heiligensee via Tegel; S85 and S1 from Pankow to Waidmannslust and Frohnau. Busses complete the transport service.
